Tuesday Update- Our God is Mighty to Save
We had a great day of ministry! Our small team was in-between a Muslim and Christian area. After many conversations of Muslims refusing to profess faith out of fear, we walked into a Muslim woman’s yard. After sharing the gospel, she told us she could not profess faith if her husband was not present. We prayed for her and after felt discouraged. As we left her home, we just hoped we would run into her husband, but didn’t think that would be possible. BUT GOD in His perfect timing and sovereignty allowed for her husband to be walking home JUST as we were about to move along. Another member of our small team got to share the gospel with him. He and his wife are now considering what they’ve heard, got plugged in with Christians in the area. We even ran into a Christian neighbor who was so encouraged that this couple was receptive and encouraged the husband to “believe today!!”. We were so grateful for God’s grace and sovereignty to allow us to get to witness to them both and are praying they are discipled in the future.
The team is healthy & excited about what God is doing. We are so encouraged to see Muslim hearts open & receptive to the Gospel.
Please continue to pray for:
- Open hearts to the gospel of Jesus Christ
- Our team has faced some spiritual warfare like feelings of apathy, feeling insecure, feeling discouraged.
- Continued good health for the North Americas
- Unity between North Americans and our Ethiopian partners
- Safety as we travel Ethiopian roads
